IMF Approves Transfer of Nearly $900 Million to Kyiv

The Executive Board of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) has approved the immediate transfer of nearly $900 million to Kyiv following the completion of the first review of the financial assistance program to Ukraine, according to the organization's document.

"The completion of the first review enables the immediate disbursement of an amount equivalent to 663.9 million SDR (Special Drawing Rights), or around $890 million," the fund's report stated.

Furthermore, the previously increased forecast for Ukraine's GDP growth rate in 2023 at 1-3% has been confirmed.
