Darmstadt 98 Signs Striker Hornby from Stade Reims

Darmstadt - Bundesliga newcomer SV Darmstadt 98 has secured the services of striker Fraser Hornby for the upcoming football season. The 23-year-old is making the switch from French top-flight club Stade Reims to join the Hessian team, signing a contract until June 2027, as announced by the club.

Hornby, a native of England, had recently been on loan to KV Ostende in the Belgian top league. "Our scouting department has invested a lot of time and effort in identifying Fraser as the striker who perfectly fits our desired profile," commented coach Torsten Lieberknecht on the signing. "During our personal conversations, I quickly gained trust in him and developed a strong feeling that he is not only a good fit for our team in terms of football, but also on a personal level."
