Bulgarian Defense Minister Raises Concerns Over Possible Cancellation of Zelensky's Visit
Bulgarian Defense Minister Suggests Zelensky's Visit to the Country May Be Canceled
Bulgarian Defense Minister Todor Tagarev has suggested that the visit of Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelensky to the country might be canceled due to a leak of information about the trip, according to the BTA news agency.
On Tuesday, local media, citing diplomatic sources, reported that Zelensky would visit Bulgaria in the coming days, with Thursday being mentioned as a possible date for the visit.
"I had the opportunity to express my regret to the media regarding the leakage of such information. This should not have happened... Ukraine is in a state of military conflict, and Zelensky is the Commander-in-Chief," the minister told journalists.
According to Tagarev, the leaked information about Zelensky's visit to Bulgaria could serve as a pretext to cancel the visit if it had indeed been planned.
