Olmo to Miss Spain Match due to Recurring Complaints

Glasgow - Dani Olmo from Bundesliga club RB Leipzig will be absent from Spain's European Championship qualifying match against Scotland on Tuesday. The 24-year-old ended the final training session early due to physical complaints and was subsequently removed from the squad by national coach Luis de la Fuente. According to RB Leipzig, the decision to end the training session early was a precautionary measure. Olmo will still be present in Glasgow to watch Spain's game and will return to Leipzig on Wednesday. There, he will undergo a thorough examination by RB's medical staff.

On a scale of 1 to 10, how likable is RB Leipzig?

The attacking midfielder played 67 minutes and scored the opening goal in Spain's 3-0 victory over Norway on Saturday. Olmo's journey to the national team carried a certain risk as he had just recovered from a muscle tear.

In the Bundesliga, Olmo had made two brief appearances of four and 19 minutes before his departure. RB coach Marco Rose had supported Olmo's trip to the national team, as it would allow the player to participate in quality team training.
