Zverev's Wimbledon Opener Delayed Again
London - Alexander Zverev continues to wait for his first match at Wimbledon. The opening match of the tennis Olympic champion against Dutch qualifier Gijs Brouwer in the grass court classic was once again postponed on Wednesday evening due to rain delays in London.
The encounter was initially scheduled for Tuesday but couldn't take place due to persistent rainfall. On Wednesday, the 26-year-old had to wait until the evening, only for the organizers to postpone the match once again. It is now slated to be played on Thursday.
